The following are some projects:
Early in 2011, as part of its initiative in favour of greener and zero-recurrent-cost road signage, Smart Light Systems cooperated with the Attard local council to launch the very first pedestrian crossing lighting in Mosta Road, a heavily trafficked area close to a primary school.
In an effort to adopt an eco-friendly approach in local heritage site preservation, in 2010 Din l-Art Ħelwa, a non-governmental national trust organisation, entrusted Smart Light Systems with a pilot project entailing the provision and installation of an LED system at the mediaeval chapel of Santa Marija in Bir Miftuħ.
In December 2010, Smart Light Systems sponsored the installation of 230 LED lamps on a spiral Christmas tree in St George’s Square, Valletta, which remained lit for the duration of the festive season.
Smart Light Systems was approached by a local custom-built aquarium manufacturer in the hope of finding a solution to energy consumption costs.
